University Wins at the Carmel International Arts Festival

The Carmel International Arts Festival took place Sept. 22 and 23 in the Carmel Arts and Design district of downtown Carmel. Among many professional artists, local and international, University High School students displayed over 60 pieces of artwork. Those pieces were shown at the High School Booth, held inside the Renaissance Art Gallery. In addition, a panel of judges looked over the collective pieces and awarded prizes to some of the artists. The results were:

  • Winner of the Photo Category: Katelyn Rogers
  • Winner of the Sculpture/3-D Category: Shakir Hindi
  • Winner of the Ceramics Category: Emily Zaniker
  • Winner of the Painting Category: Morgan Wood
  • Winner of the Intro 2-D Category: Yong Zhou Soh
  • Winner of the Advanced 2-D Category: Ally Pockrass
  • Winner of Best in Show: Brittany Fukushima
