Boys Soccer

The Boys Soccer Team took on Park Tudor at Guerin Catholic in the first round of Sectionals. The audience was expecting 12th ranked Park Tudor and 20th University to be competitive until the final buzzer, and the players did not disappoint. The teams were neck and neck throughout the first half. Both had their respective attempts, but were unable to put in a goal. After the half-time break, the teams came out firing. A slip up by the Blazers allowed Park Tudor to net in a goal. The Blazers were able to get the offense going following the goal, generating many opportunities to score. Unfortunately, they were unable to find the back of a net, resulting in a 1-0 loss.

Girls Soccer

The Girls Soccer Team took on International at Heritage Christian on October 9th. On a brisk evening, the team came ready to play. The girls played very well, fired up by the heat of sectional competition. The team let in a goal in the 1st half, but kept fighting until the very end. International’s defense held a strong line and prevented the Blazers from evening up the score. The game ended in a 1-0 loss for the Lady Blazers.

Tennis

The Tennis Team took on Westfield in their first round of sectional play. Westfield fielded a very strong team this year, and the Blazers learned the hard way. The team defeated the Blazers swiftly and will continue into the next round.

XC
