Summer is just around the corner, and you know what that means- no school, no homework, and tons of free time! Which means plenty of time to hang out with friends and family and explore around town, or, if you’re lucky, vacation somewhere exotic. Below are some looks and ideas for fun things to do this summer! Enjoy!
Every summer calls for countless open houses for every occasion. Grab a breezy summer dress to keep you cool, some sandals, cool sunnies, and a bag to keep all your must-have items on the go, and you’re ready to hit ten open houses in one day this June!
First Friday Food Truck Festival
Food, fun, and more! What else could you ask for in the summer? This is the time to go all out, and you don’t need uncomfortable clothing keeping you from eating your way through each and every food truck. With comfortable tennis shoes for walking around, jean shorts and a hat to keep the sun out of your eyes, you’re ready to eat your heart out!
The IMA is always a good place to visit, if not for the cool air conditioned building alone. But this summer specifically, the museum will be featuring a new mini golf exhibit/activity outside on the grounds. Not only do you get to gather some friends and actually play mini golf, but you can see the unique course, featuring a hole designed by University’s very own Luke Crawley and Quincy Owens.
The 4th of July
Summer is great for the longer nights, swimming, hanging with friends and family, and, of course, and watching the fireworks ceremony on the 4th of July. For this outfit, you’re officially ok’d to go all out with patriotism and bring out your most colorful red, white, and blue, and go crazy with it!
